Enum ImageFit
pub enum ImageFit {
Contain,
Cover,
Fill,
ScaleDown,
None,
}Expand description
How the image is fitted within its layout bounds: the CSS object-fit
set, shared with every widget that places a picture.
How a picture is fitted within its box: the CSS object-fit set.
Variants§
Contain
Scale to fit entirely within the box, preserving aspect ratio. May leave empty space (letterboxing).
Cover
Scale to cover the entire box, preserving aspect ratio. May crop the picture.
Fill
Stretch to fill the box exactly, ignoring aspect ratio.
ScaleDown
Like Contain, but never upscales: a picture smaller than the box
keeps its natural size.
None
Draw the picture at its natural size, neither scaling up nor down. A
picture larger than the box is cropped to it, one smaller sits inside
with empty space; the alignment places it either way. CSS
object-fit: none.
Implementations§
§impl ImageFit
impl ImageFit
pub fn fitted_rect(
self,
content: Size,
bounds: Rect,
alignment: Alignment,
rtl: bool,
) -> Rect
pub fn fitted_rect( self, content: Size, bounds: Rect, alignment: Alignment, rtl: bool, ) -> Rect
Where a picture of content size lands in bounds under this fit,
placed by alignment where the fit leaves slack or crops (the CSS
object-position analogue). rtl resolves Leading and Trailing for a
right-to-left layout. The result may exceed bounds under Cover, and
under None for a picture larger than the box. An empty content
fills bounds.
